Adam Green is an American singer-songwriter, artist and filmmaker. Green is well known for his involvement in the anti-folk music movement and as one half of the band the Moldy Peaches, alongside fellow singer-songwriter Kimya Dawson. After the breakup of the band in 2002 he started his solo career publishing various albums, but in 2010 he took a break from music in order to focus on his job as both an artist and a director, even though he came back to the music field for a collaboration.
In 2005, Green entered the professional art world with his exhibition of a series of drawings entitled "Animal Dreams" at the Loyal Gallery of Stockholm. Green's art exhibition "Teen Tech" was displayed at New York's Morrison Hotel Gallery in 2010 and consisted of plaster sculptures, watercolour and acrylic large-scale paintings, drawings, collages, papier-mâché and mixed-material works.

Carnival Machine is a book of poetry and illustration set in a world of adventures that will leave you spellbound, taking place in an anthropomorphic storefront, the labyrinthine bureaucracy of a vending machine's nightmare, and beyond.
