Pino Reggiani has held more than 100 solo exhibitions in Italy, Europe and countries outside Europe. He has worked mainly in thematic cycles: from the 'Violence' theme (1961-63) to the 'Cinodromo' cycle (1966-1968), from the 'Sacco e Vanzetti' series (1969-1970) to the 'Fall of the Angel' (1971-73), from 'Crowds and Walls' (1973-1974) to 'Tunnels' (1975-1976), from 'English Landscapes' (1977-1978) to the 'Egypt, Myth of the Buried Ages' series (1979-1980), from 'Fragments' (1981-1982) to 'Landscapes of the Roman Countryside' (1981-1984), from 'Cartoons' (1983) to 'Still Life and Theatre' (1985-1987), from 'Times of Music' (1990-1993) to 'Oriental Landscapes' (1993-1996), from 'Structures of Industrial Archaeology' (2001) to 'The Maximum Cloaca' (2002), from 'Northfields' (2006) to 'Brunelleschi's Mask' (2009). Together with Floriano Bodini, Mino Ceretti, Giuseppe Banchieri, Giannetto Fieschi, Tino Vaglieri and others, he was part of the Renzo Botti Group in Cremona, coordinated by the writer and critic Danilo Montaldi, which was to influence the search for neo-expressive figuration in Italy between the 1960s and 1980s.
