Luca Secchi turned to photography after studying history and communication, inspired by all those authors who made flash and wide angles their life mission. His nickname Onibaku comes from Japanese, and it means something like “demon-bomb.” Like a “demon-bomb” he hunts for the strangest and most distorted aspects of reality, using unusual angles, saturated colors and a strong flash. Among the various projects, the formal analysis of pogo in hardcore concerts is undoubtedly from the longest and most fruitful one.

"I met the screamo or skramz, in 2022 in Milan. There I understood that skarmz is chaos, lived in a community dimension. From there I propose a discourse on screamo by analyzing it for what it represents today: a sound that approaches....These photos should be the shape of what a skramz concert is here and now, regardless of the band or venue."
