Gabriele Basilico (Milan 1944) is one of the best-known contemporary photographers of architecture and urban landscapes. He photographs exclusively in black and white and his privileged fields of action are the industrial landscape and urban areas. His architectural studies brought him closer to the field of publishing, for which he produced a wide range of works on commission. He has to his credit research on urban areas, the territory, and architecture commissioned by private and public bodies.
