Guizhou, with its endless mountains and rivers, seems to bring surprises at any time. 214, who lives here, often walks around with his camera. Sometimes he treats photography as a game to resist boredom, and more often he is just waiting for a "calling". After reading Wang Zengqi's novel Encounter, 214 was impressed by the "napping dog". He then sequenced the photos that he took with different equipment in recent years, to create a dream-like illusion, as if waking up in the daytime and the sunlight flashing into the early morning. Every time 214 reads Wang's text, he feels the same way, surprised and admired. Together with Wang's words, he tries to convey the beautiful and inconsequential moments from these everyday photographs to the viewers.
