Ignazio Apolloni, poet storyteller, writer of fables and fairy tales, is one of the most refined synthesisers. Editor of magazines, cultural organiser, expert in multimedia languages, he ranges from storytelling to myth, from art to history, from modern to postmodern. Apolloni founded the political-literary movement called Antigroup with some other angry people. When this phase came to an end, he, together with Rossana Apicella, launched a fierce contestation of visual poetry in the name of lettering and singleness, producing such works as: 'Poetic work on an adverbial locution', 'Schetch poems', 'Poesie impossibili', 'Tra il dire e il mare c'è di mezzo la poesia'. His presence in the field of artists' books is also significant.
