Editor of magazines, cultural organiser, expert in multimedia languages, he ranges from storytelling to myth, from art to history, from modern to postmodern. Apolloni founded the political-literary movement called Antigroup with some other angry people. When this phase came to an end, he, together with Rossana Apicella, launched a fierce contestation of visual poetry in the name of lettering and singleness, producing such works as: 'Poetic work on an adverbial locution', 'Schetch poems', 'Poesie impossibili', 'Tra il dire e il mare c'è di mezzo la poesia'. His presence in the field of artists' books is also significant.
