IG TAKE OVER: Graphic Designer Series

We have started a new Take Over series on our instagram page!

We invited some graphic artists and designers working in the editorial field to curate our page, presenting a selection of two of their projects and two books chosen from our catalog because they are important in their education and/or aesthetic direction and taste

To inaugurate the series:
run by Melissa Pallini and Martina Zanin, is a design and creative direction studio that focuses on book design, exhibition design, and visual identity projects in the cultural sphere, working with artists, institutions, and publishing houses.
"We believe in form as a sensory experience, so we pay great attention to details and selection of materials, going in search of associations in order to translate and convey the concepts behind a project and create an output that activates the dynamics between the senses."

They proposed these two projects of theirs:
I Made Them Run Away by Martina Zanin (Skinnerboox, 2021)
Traces by Silvia De Giorgi (DITO Publishing, 2023)

and these two books from our catalog:
Moises by Mariela Sancari. Special Edition (La Fabrica, 2015)
Will Happiness Find Me? by Peter Fischli and David Weiss (Koenig Books, 2003)

Is curating the page now, until August 17:
Giulia Boccarossa
Freelance graphic designer working in art direction and editorial graphics, collaborating with institutions, publishing houses, artists and photographers, creating visual identities, exhibition designs, art catalogs and photo books.
"My design methodology can be described as an experimental approach related to archival research."
