"I met Tira and Dayang while following Ines, one of Maryani's pupils. As soon as I saw Tira and Dayang, I was completely blown away by their relationship. Tira was tidying the picture frames in her one-room house while Dayang was sleeping on the mattress on the floor. After a short while, she sat beside him and by the way she lowered down close to him I felt their unique bond. She sat down as a lioness would sit beside her beloved – a mixture of tenderness and protection, and a distrust of the outside. Tira was a 48-year-old male to female transgender, disfigured by lousy surgical operations; Dayang was an outcast street boy with no family and no place to stay. They lived in a squatted courtyard near an airport, just off a very busy junction. They had met four years before on the street, and since then had been sharing everything – their home, their pains and their hopes. Dayang and Tira were two people living together, supporting and loving each other through an uneasy life".
This LTD Edition will include unseen imagery, original material from location and  an EXCLUSIVE conversation between Michael Ackerman and Luca Desienna.

"Ho incontrato Tira e Dayang mentre seguivo Ines, una delle pupille di Maryani. Non appena ho visto Tira e Dayang, sono rimasto completamente sconvolto dalla loro relazione. Tira stava riordinando le foto ricordo nel suo monolocale mentre Dayang dormiva sul materasso sul pavimento. Dopo un po ', Tira si è seduta accanto a lui e dal modo in cui gli si avvicinò sentii il loro legame unico. Si sedette come una leonessa si siede accanto ai cuccioli, un misto di tenerezza, protezione e sfiducia verso l'esterno. Tira era un transgender maschio-femmina di 48 anni, sfigurato da operazioni chirurgiche a basso costo; Dayang  era un ragazzo di strada senza famiglia e senza un posto dove stare. Vivevano in un cortile nei pressi di un aeroporto, appena fuori da un incrocio molto trafficato. Si erano conosciuti quattro anni prima per strada e da allora condividevano tutto - la loro casa, i loro dolori e le loro speranze. Dayang e Tira erano due persone che vivevano insieme, si sostenevano e si amavano attraverso una vita inquieta e difficile”.
